Mountain Red Grape Extract Ultra + Trans Resveratrol is formulated from the extracts of these two iconic New Zealand grape varieties:
- Grapeseed Extract from the seeds of Sauvignon blanc grapes
and - Red Grape Skin Extract from the skins of unfermented Pinot noir grapes.
These fruits have adapted themselves to the high levels of light and UV radiation that penetrate through New Zealand’s clean, clear skies by producing higher levels of natural bioactives in their skin and seeds. The seeds of Marlborough’s sauvignon blanc grapes, grown here in the top of the South Island of New Zealand have much higher levels of antioxidants than seeds from other grape varieties around the world. In addition the use of unfermented pinot noir skins ensures that all the bioactives are retained in the skin and have not leached out during processing.
